Fox Creek School opened its doors on September 1, 2011 to 397 students and 35 staff members. As a unique, Kindergarten to Grade 12, solo, community school, we enjoy and appreciate the strong support provided by local business and service club partnerships. A dedicated and hard working School Council in conjunction with a very creative Students’ Council contribute significantly to the rich array of events and activities throughout the year designed to enhance overall school life for the students of Fox Creek School.
The staff has a unified, purposeful focus; creating a safe, caring, positive learning environment that is sensitive to individual needs and strengths. The educational team is committed to learner success. To ensure students are building skills in critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving, teachers work collaboratively with their grade level/subject area colleagues throughout the Division sharing best practices in instructional and assessment methods. Our teachers implement these effective practices with a view to engage students in learning experiences that are authentic and meaningful resulting in a deeper grasp of curricular outcomes.
